Happy Motherīs Day Momīs - Mid Way Point in the Season

We are now at the midway point in the season and the team are getting a good idea how they match up against each other. With the softball clinic behind us players are able to use those skills they have learned and put them into action.

The coaches are reminded to email or phone their scores to their division managers so they can be posted on the website and in The Local Reporter newspaper each week. Any equipment concerns should be addressed with Al Phillips our SMSA Equipment Manager. The DOS Parks staff are doing an excellent job keeping the baseball diamonds in good shape for us and they are to be commended on their efforts.

If any teams need to play make-up games we suggest you get them done quickly as when the end of the season comes you wonīt be disappointed. Please remember the only one that can cancell games are the umpires. Cyril Perpet is charge of the league umpires and we ask that you contact him if you have any questions.

Teams were all handed carwash coupons to help us raise funds for the year-end tournment. We ask that each player sell one ticket as the much needed money goes 100% to buying trophies and running the year-end tournament.  Team Managers looking after the coupons should return them back to Sid Quinn along with a sign-up sheet of the players that plan to particpate in washing cars on May 23rd, 2009 at Tsain-ko Village Malle.

Good Luck to all the teams in the second half of the season...!
