Another Great Week of Baseball

The third week of baseball just ended and all of the teams have now played each other once. The weather was awesome and we are getting good fan turn outs to the games.

We need to remind the squirts, peewee and bantam players that they need to tuck their uniforms in when they are going up to bat. This ensures that the ball is not going to brush against them, and allows the umpire to make the call. We had one of the coaches go and tuck his sonīs shirt in for him, however, we are not going to mention any names and embarass him again.

Itīs time to sign-up and volunteer for the car wash on May 7th held at Gilliganīs Pub. The Squirts are on from 10-12, the PeeWees from 12-2 and the Bantams from 2-4.

Our hat delay situation was finally sorted out this week, it was due to a mix-up with the sizes. All of the teams should be looking pretty sharp out on the field now with their new hats and sponsor names. We also want to remind all of the coaches that they need to submit their team lists with information pertaining to the issuing of jerseys.

We want to see more fans, coaches and players using the forum on the site to give us their views on the game.

Good Luck in week four of the baseball season!
