Fastpitch Season in Full Swing

The Sechelt Minor Softball season is in full swing. We have just completed our first week of games.  It will take a few weeks for coaches to get familiar with all of the players and see how their team matches up against their divison opponents. Also, our Division Managers are off to an excellent start recording the scores of each game.

Coaches are reminded to:

1)Hand in a Uniform List by April 16th to Lucy´s with the player´s names and uniform number.

2)The District of Sechelt installed new break-away bases and they asked that we remind all of our coaches to make sure they get put away after each game, and to clean out the dugouts (pack out what you pack in).

3) Practise times are to be scheduled through Sid Quinn 885-4326. If you have not booked a time please give him a call.

4)The Mike Rennie Softball Clinic is on May 2,3 & 4th and team managers must get the clinic registration forms back-in.

5)Coaches will be called and told who their team managers are.

The Executive wants to remind everyone that the safety of our players, umpires, fans and coaches is our FIRST PRIORITY. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to phone one of the Directors as everyone was given a list of the contact names of the Sechelt Minor Softball Association Board.

Good Luck to all of the teams!
