The Sun was out all Week!

There was no more complaining about it being too cold. The sun was out all week and the temperature increased by about 10 degrees. This brought a lot more fans out to watch kid playing ball in all the divisions.

A PeeWee game was cancelled on Wednesday. The umpire arrived at the park unaware that the game had been cancelled by the coaches. The only person who can cancel a scheduled game is the umpire. Therefore, coaches you need to be communicating with them. It is now the responsibility of those two teams to arrange for a make-up game, and they must contact an umpire and will be responsible to pay the umpire.

The Bantam and PeeWee Teams will finally have finished playing each team once by early next week. There was also a new rule put into affect for Squirt, PeeWee and Bantam to ensure equal opportunities for all players. Also, the umpires want to get games started on time and coaches need to ensure your catchers are getting ready when you have 2 out to prevent any delay in the game.

Good Luck to all the teams in week 3 of the baseball season!
