Coaches Corner

SFU Clinic
SFU Clinic
We want to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers who helped get our baseball season off the ground. It has been a busy couple weeks getting everybody organized and playing ball. We also want to thank Ellen Thomas and the students from Chatelech Senior Secondary for putting on a baseball clinic for our younger players aged 5-10 years old. It was well attended and our future looks really good with these up and coming players.

A reminder to all the coaches to get their players to sign up for the SFU Baseball Clinic on May 4 -6th at Hackett Park.  The level of coaching for our players is First Class and we know from the past two years how much these young athletes benefit from this high caliber coaching.  We will be having two days of coaching for the coaches so let us know if your are interested. The team with the most players will win pizza for their team. We hope to see many of you out at the clinic.

The league play has been excellent and we are seeing some real close games in all the divisions.  Attention players; letīs not forget to phone your coaches if you are unable  to  make it to a game or practise.  Keep up the good work and good luck in week 4 of the baseball season!
