The 2005 Baseball Season is the Record Books

The Sechelt Minor Softball Association Executive would like to thank all the umpires, coaches, score-keepers, parents, sponors and volunteers who helped make this a great season.

We saw some of the leagues divisions go right down to the last games to determine the overall league standings. The year-end tournament was a great success with the teams playing a round robin format and really taking their game  up a notch. Hackett Park was full of spectators watching some exciting games and the participation in the 50/50 draws, raffles, loonie bats and supporting the concession was excellent. There were a lot of trophies handed out at our year-end award ceremony for league and tournament play as well as individual play. Unfortunately, all players are not recognized, however everyone should be proud of themselves for getting involved in making this a great team sport.

We hope everyone takes advantage of the great opportunity to participate in the baseball camp on July 12, 13 & 14 with Olympic coach Mike Rennie. This camp will be awesome and you won´t get better coaching to develope your baseball skills.

We look forward to seeing all of our players and volunteers next year.  If you have any comments, please contact us by email at

Thanks to Everyone!
